I feel that the internet is not as reliable as I thought it is before this PBL excercise.I think that although internet is more fast,easy and efficient,we should not always depend on the internet as internet may sometimes display the wrong information.Sometimes the internet may even display things that are being edited so I think the internet is not so reliable as it seems to the people using internet.
I feel that the Internet is not reliable only some of the websites like some infromation websites(www.wikipedia.com/ www.dictionary.com). These are some unreliable websites like( www.blogspot.com/www.facebook.com/www.hatebook.com/ and others) I think that we should be more careful and aware of some websites which won't cause any harm to yourselves. Any way, even people use internet to edit the images of popular people like; Britney Spears, Rihanna and others in magazines, newspaper, which would be post on the internet, which could let some of the people think that some of the celebrtities are skinnies, but more of them are actually fatter than them. Many pictures are supposed to be real but in reality most pictures that look nice is altered then posted on the internet printed on the magazines and many other sources. We should be careful doing projects. Ensure that the information is correct before using them as part of the project work.Video can also be altered for example,re-arranging or modifying segments the video to form another piece of video.Sometimes the internet is a reliable source if the internet is use in a bad way people will get false information,thus causing more trouble for the society.We could influence the public about the topic media literacy so people know no to trust the information on easily.By hongliang
I feel that the internet isn't as innocent as we believe and whatever is written there might not be reliable.Even some of the more trustable website like wikipedia and google might content fake information,that is provided if we really want to pay close attention to what is stated.The next one that most often content false information is blogger and other "self-descriptive" web pages as those people who published stuff on them can chose to give fake information. After going through the PBL exercise,i feel that internet resources are not also as reliable as i used to think.We cannot trust what we see on the internet and no website are totally true including google,yahoo,wikipedia, wikianswers and live search. We can never know if the person in a show,in a video or even a photograph on the internet is tall,short,fat, skinny or average because with the advanced technonology, any person size on the internet can be changed.In the Internet,there are always conman cheating other people money or trying to take advantage of other. I feel a bit insurcured sometime,to trust or not to trust the internet sources. I sometimes get confused wheather I should trust or not to trust the internet information. But I can know that somethings are definetly false cause I learnt them in class. I think that there are people outside that would be cheated as they do not know about hese things. Those people who cheat the others,would cheat more and more people and it would not end until someone chtches them,which is very diffcult. So,when using the internet,one must very careful not to get into such traps,if not,you might just lose monay just like that. Joey
I now know that telling the real from the fake is not as easy as I thought. Some editors are so good that they hardly leave any mistakes behind. We should correct our thinking that the internet is always right and be more cautious on the Net. There are people who cheat others for money, some even just for fun! We should really consider whether or not to buy things from the net, as you must give the MONEY first, before they give you the product, whereas in other trades, you can get the product once you give the money. I really hope to be a professional at differentiating real from the false images.
After going through the media literacy programme, i feel that the internet is not a very reliable.Without this programmme,i would think that the internet is always reliable and people post is true.We should change our thinking of the internet as people with bad intensions would use the internet to do some bad things .I hope i can differntiat between false and true information.
I think that after going through the pbl lesson on the internet, the internet to me is not so reliable as before. Before the programme, I had always thought that the internet was always reliable and always correct, no matter what others say. But then after the programme,i can now differenciate reliable and unreliable info on the internet.

After going through the PBL lesson, i think that the Internet is reliable but it also has its own disadvantages like for example, fake information, edited pictures and fake identities. Through this PBL, I have learnt how to identify true or false informations more accurately and efficiently. I know how to compare various sources so as to get a clearer picture of the information I am finding. I have learnt to be careful while surfing the net and not give in to the informations that are biased and fake.

I used to think the unternet was always right and i also always looked at wi,kipedia foer help. then after the lesson in ML, i had completly different views. i then stoped using wilkipedia as i was no longer sure about it. the lesson also taught me that i can't be to relaint on the internet as we cannot tell for sure that the person we are chatting online with is a safe person that we know. I also felt that many peoplen use that internet in many ways that it should no0t be used.
