  1. I have learn that media literacy is not only just about identifying what is fake and what is true on the deceiving internet,it is about making your own newscast from just a piece of carefully-planned(not to mention make-shift) script.Isn't it amazing! What i have learn from news casting is that making a newscast isn't easy at all, especially in such a short time (for news casting channels which often have to rush to process information and then later make sure everything is right before show-time.)I have also learn that as newscasters, we should not always look at our script. Most importantly, i learn that teamwork is very important and crucial to the fate of the newscast produced, without a decent team ,it is almost impossible to do a presentable piece of work.

  2. I have learnt that media literacy is not only about identifying what is true and fake on the deceiving internet , it is also about making your own newscast and from just a thin piece of paper with words printed on it . It is very amazing as Sam hadd said . What I had learnt from news casting is that making a newscast is not easy at all ! Especially when you are only given a short period of time to finish it . When we watch the news casting on television we may think it is so easy to be a reporter , all you need to do is read out the script . But after having Media literacy lessons , I learnt that being a newscaster , you need to have eye-contact with the 'audience' so you cannot look at the script all the time . Most importantly , we need to have teamwork while doing the newscast , if not , it is impossible to have a almost perfect piece of work .

  3. I learnt that doing a newscast is not easy.Finding details, not being bias and the news has to be very interesting and within a short time, you have to finish all the details about the incident.I have also learnt that within a group, your group has to cooperative if not,the newscast will never be good and instead it will be some horrible work that is unfinished.I realised that the script is also very important.Without the script, the reporter will not be prepared at all as the reporter cannot remember everything that is written on the script. As a reporter, eye contact is also important as it can attract the audience attention just by using eye contact. However,no matter how good the script,reporter,eye-contact and cooperative the group is,there is no such thing as a perfect newscast.

  4. I learnt that making a newscating is not an easy thing. We should also know our facts well so we don't give the audience wrong info and create misunderstandings. We need to find a lot of information if not the audience will think that there are a lot of loop holes in their newscating. While newscating , we should have eye contact and if we don't, the audience will think that we don't respect them. We also should not keep looking the script.Within your group, we should cooperate so we can make the newscating more good.If you put in your heart and soul i think you can surely make a good newscating.

  5. I have learnt that Media Literacy is learning about the important facts of newscasting. We should have a summary, and we should always keep to the main point of the news.We have to be true about everything that we report to gain trust from our viewers. We must make it interesting and informative so that more people will watch the news. When we are reporting the news, we shouldn't keep looking at our script, instead, we can hold a piece of paper containing what the newscaster have to say such that the newscaster would not forget what he/she have to say.We should always have a good teamwork in our group to produce better work.5 heads are better than 1. If we do the work together, it will be a lot better than the one being done by 1 person.

  6. I have learnt that Media Literacy is not just about identifying true of false informations on the internet. It's also about looking things from different points of views. We cannot be biased based on just one piece of information given by a source. We are required to look through other informations from other sources and compare it to give a summary and a better idea of what is happening. Through newscasting, I know that teamwork and bonding within the group is really needed.

  7. I have learnt that Media Literacy is not only about identifying fake or real information on the internet but also important facts about newscasting. We must not believe the information given by a source but to look through other sources so that we are not being biased.Through newscasting,I learnt teamwork is very important among groups because it is almost impossible to do a presentable work without teamwork. If we do the newscast together, the newscast would surely be a better one.

  8. I have learnt that Media Literacy is not just about identifying information whether it is true or not or the information being biased.I also learnt about newscasting.I also learnt not to be biased. Now before believing that a piece of information is true or not,I would check it up.I would also check if the information is biased or not.I also learnt if I want to make a newscast succesful,I must work as a team.Every team member has their own strengths and if we put all of our strengths together our newscast would be alot better.

  9. i have learnt how to identify real and fake information in the internet. We should go more than one website to confirm and double check the information that is given to us. Internet is very reliable but we must use it carefully and not giving our true identities in the internet as it is dangerous. I have learn how to make a newscast and not to be biased. we must interview more than one person to get their own point of views and what they witness. Interviewing more than one person is very important, if we do not, then we will not get the correct information.

  10. I have learnt to be unbiased by getting different points of views about an incident,to be able to newscast without looking at the script continuously needs a lot of practice.Teamwork is needed to make the newscast into a better one, internet sources are not always the whole truth as it can be modified to become a biased news report. It can cause a lot of harm to the victim of the changed source,it might even cause a lawsuit filled against the person who posted the fake information.89We must be accurate in the newscast so people will not get the wrong information and get the wrong idea about the newscast.

  11. I have learnt so far that media literacy is about making your own newscast from just a piece of carefully-planned script for neswcasts and not being bias in newscasts too. I learnt teamwork is important among groups because it is near impossible to do a good work without teamwork.

  12. I have learnt that media literacy is not just learning how to identify the true and false articles or photos in the internet but also it is about how to do broadcast about an article.
When we are broadcasting, we should not be bias for the people who are involved in the article. There must not be comments of who is wrong or right to do the some actions because the person who people think can be correct but the audience may think his action is wrong just because of other people’s comments. In conclusion, I learnt that most of the things in the internet are not trustworthy enough and when there is an article about an incident or accident, the reports about it must be fair and must not be bias at all.

  13. i realised that meadia literacy is not just about pros and cons on the internet but instead, even news-broadcast is sometimes fake. since the media is with the government and high-social ranking people thus, it is impossible that the media go against the government. Thus, i can infer that most accounts from the media can be considered as a buyers account. in summary, the truth of every incident or broadcast are mostly covered by mysteries.

  14. I have learnt that media literacy is not only about identifying what is true and false, pros and cons but about doing a good newscast. I learnt that teamwork and cooperation is very important in a team because they might quarrel and do a lousy newscast. I have learnt to listen to everybody point of views and not be biased in a newscast. To do a outstanding newscast, I need to interview a lot of different people relate to the incident. I also learnt to be more creative when doing a newscast. In conclusion, I learnt not be biased and cooperate well in my team.

  15. I learnt that in media literacy is not about identifying what is true or false, the pros and cons of Internet but doing a good newscast. I learnt that teamwork and cooperation is what lead to a good script which means a good newscast. Without teamwork, the work we were supposed to do will not be complete or it will not be as good as what they think of. Listening to your teammates, giving out comments, help us change alot on friendship too. Being creative is also a number 1 priority too. Without it, the mewscast would be so dull and plain that no one wants to listen to your newscast. So with all this points, we can do a good newscast.

  16. I have learnt that in a newscast, you have to report the truth. Being bias is not one point in broadcasting a good newscast. When you report, you ahve to be ready with your information, if not, your newscast would not be good and might just be imperfect and there is a possibility that no one would even watch the newscast. Teamwork is also very important. If there is no teamwork, you would not have the information you need and like i said earlier, the end product would not be good. Sometimes listening to yours friends'opinion is also a good way to improve yourself. It could also improve the groups work and make it better than it was. You should also be creative as if there is no creativity, the news report would be really plain and boring. I am sure if its plain and boring no one would even want to watch or listen to your newscast. I am sure that with all these points I have mentioned, we can create a good newscast.

  17. I have learnt that in a newscast you have to report the truth and not be bias. I can't look at one side of things and not look at the other side of the story. When you report you must have everything ready so that you will not panic at the last moment, if you do that, you will panic and the newscast would not be good. Teamwork is also one of the keys to success. We must have teamwork as one person cannot manage everything buy himself/herself so we must build a strong team to succeed. I think creativity is also another important key to success. If you have no creativity, the person that is watching might feel bored and fell asleep.

  19. I've learnt that Media literacy through the newscast teach us that we must not watch an news and believe it 100%.The news will tries to be unbiased but there will be some side that will be biased and we as a Media Literacy student,we must use our knowledge to analyse the news and wev will be biased about the news.

  20. I have learnt lots of stuffs as you see.The teachers were good, hence making lessons fun and interesting. The fun and interesting lessons make us absorb the learning more easily.Alright, let's not got carried away.Media Literacy have taught us not to easily trust the information given, most commonly in the internet. The information they give might be bias and could be some rumours instead. The pictures found on the internet are commonly to be edited,so we cannot trust much. The next thing which the Media Literacy have taught us was how to broadcast. We should also be well prepared before making any broadcast, hence,we will not panic and be mumuring. We should prepare our broadcast earlier and not at the last minute.Media Literacy also taught us that we could be hacked or blackmailed through the internet.Such incidents happens mostly on programs like FaceBook or Windows Live Messenger. We should be careful when we online.

  21. I learnt that Media literacy is not only about how to identify fake information on the net but also knowing the pros and cons of extracting information from it.Whan doing a broadcast you must be sure that you are not bias and only report on the good side of the incident or vise-versa.We must also be prepared before reporting the information, hence,we would not get panic or else we would end up with lots of mistake.Teamwork is another key point we must have while doing this broadcast as without this the final product would not be pefect, sometimes it is good to listen to your friend's idea as you might not know what they have said may help you alot.Through this Media literacy i have learnt that we must be careful while using the internet and make sure that we are not bias.

  22. I used to think that Media Literacy lessons were not useful at all, but now I think it might actually be one of the most important lessons in JSS. I say that because personally, I didn't really notice if the information during a newscast was biased or not, but now I can really tell the difference, and even talk about it. I have also learnt that newscasting is not as easy as I used to think it was. It requires a lot of time and effort into a newscast. As a Media lit student, I have learnt to analyse the information better.

  23. I learnt that when broadcasting the news, we must make sure that the information given must be unbiased to prevent arguments or complaints from the audience. There must be creativity and new stuff to attract the audience's attention. If your newscast is boring and, nobody will want to watch it. I also learnt to identify what kind of information on the internet is true or fake. Some of the oictures

  24. i learnt that all stuffs reported on any newcast may not be true most of them are only one point of view and basically they are bias so making a good newcast must be attractive to attract people to watch and informations should be true it will be even better if alot of people opinions are voiced out

  25. I have learnt that providing unbias information is very hard as everyone have different points of view. Even so, we should still try to give unbias information. I learnt that a good newscast should be short and straight to the point. We should not bombard the audiences with to much information lest they get confused or bored. Pictures and videos tend to interest some people and therefore we should add more pictures and videos, but have lesser words. Interviewing of people is also important as people may not agree with just one opinion made by Media Corp. People may then agree with your broadcast and therefore they will watch it more often.

  28. You got to face the camera at all times and you can't keep looking at the screen as the audience needs to see your face and not the paper. You also need to project your voice if you are not using a mic. The subject you are talking about must not be out of point and you must be able to keep your audience attention.
