ReplyDeleteNo, we cannot trust movies to represent true history. This is because, some directors would make up some interesting to represent the history and it might not be true. They will think of more ideas to make it more interesting, as their purpose of making movie is to make more money. If we trust movies to represent true history, then we might misunderstand the truth of the history and get the wrong information. We must only treat movies as entertainments and not trust it. We should go internet and check instead, or ask our parents if we really want to find out about history. Most of the movies are just the thought or imagination of people, and it is not the real truth. So in conclusion, we should not trust movies to represent true history.

We can't trust them because actually, hardly anyone know what really happen in the future. If they really know what actually happen, which is not possible, they will change the movie better enough for the audience to enjoy since not all history is not boring. We can treat them as an entertainments but not trust them so dont use them as history.

We cannot trust movies to represent true history. Movies are just a form of entertainment and are to let the audience to pay money for it. They change a lot of the parts to make the story interesting so that people will come and watch the movies. The rating will also rise and it is also to just let the producers earn money. All the movies that represents true history is all fake, they just make us pay money for the make up history. So in conclusion, we should not trust them and never believe that movies represent the true history.

No, we cannot trust movies to represent true history. This is because the not all of the movies contain all the facts about what actually happened during the past events that were recorded in history. Sometimes, movies were cut short by the directors as there was not enough time to film all the exact details during the true history. Movies can be edited, this means that the movies can add in some scenes that did not happened during history. To attract more people to watch the movies, the directors cut away some boring scenes and add in interesting or funny scenes so that people can be entertained. All in all, I think that we cannot depend on movies to represent true history as not all movies contain the exact details of what happened during the true history.

No. We cannot trust movies to represent true history as most of the times, for the sake of money, directors would do anything to make the audience interested in the movie and pay for it that is why it can only be regarded as entertainment. So we cannot assume that what we see in movies is true. Even how much they try to make it as true like the past as possible, some things the movie cannot replace. Examples are the actors in the movie were not the same as the people in real life. They also cannot replicate the items made. If we really want to know that what we are seeing is true, we should find out the truth before concluding that what the movie shows is true. In conclusion, we cannot trust movies to represent true history.

No, we cannot trust movies to represent true history. This is because as many teenagers nowadays are not intrested in history as they think that it is very boring. Teenagers nowadays prefer movie of more action so the directors of movies often change the story of the true history so as to attract more people's attention so that more people would watch this movie. We should only treat movies as enteratainment and should not believe in whatever the movie says as what the movie shows may differ from the true history and we might get the wrong information. If we really wnat to know the truth of the history you should search for it in books or check it from the internet instead of believing in what the movie says. So in conclusion, we should not believe in what the movie says about the true history.

We cannot competely trust these movie as hardly anyone knew whether they are even true as most directors would usually fake up some interesting or dramatic scene so as to let the people believe that it is true but that is all what the directors had made up so as to attract the attention of the people. So we cannot assume that what we see in movies are all true, even how much they try to make it as true like the past as possible, there are some things which the movie cannot replace as the past can never be the same as the future. So in the end, we should not believe everything the movies say as you would never know which is really true or fake as peoplen would usually fake History so as to let it seem more interesting and appealing to people.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust history movies at all because sometimes they are unreal and not truth enough to believe and sometimes the director only knew some of it and he also just briefly just film and they make use of big stars like Jet Li and others to attract the public's attention and eventually the movie get popular for people to watch because of the stars.

The reason we cannot depend on movies as a reliable source for historical information is that movies are for entertainment, not information. The directors do not follow the "real" historical information. They change the plot to make it more interesting, so as to attract more audiences to watch the movie. Why do they do that? It is because that they want to earn more money. Giving "real" historical information does not help them attract audience nor get a reward. That's why we should never trust movies to give real historical information.

No, we cannot trust movies to represent true history. The directors create these history movies to tell people about these famous people in the past but the main point is usually about earning money. The directors would change a lot of parts and the appearance of the actual person to attract people to watch the movie. But in most history movies, some parts are remained unchanged because those parts are usually interesting or about love because most movies have love story. Although some parts are unchanged, there are also parts that are changed so it would hard to know which is true and false.

We can trust or don't trust movies representing history as there are some directors that are not interested in making money but showing the truth or making a replica of the scene in ancient history thus filming documentary movies to tell whoever seeing their movie clips.On the other hand there are others directors who changes history to create parts and bits of the movies attracting a lot crowd to watch the movie and get high ratings for that particular movie.Some directors changes the truth twsiting and turning like the movies two movie reviewied 'Fearless' and '300' the directors in 300 changed lots of facts like the immortals war inventory ,spartans armours and many other facts in the movie.In Fearless the director also said that in the movie Huo Yuan Jia's whole family was killed by a enemy and was posioned at a break during the match by the japanese.This is another example of a distorted truth if viewers acknowledge or accept whatever they see is the truth without researching or checking it up in the Internet no one will trust the media after discovering that it is not really the truth.

We cannot use movie's to represent any history or a person's life as the director may add some extra facts to the whole movie to attract people to watch the movie. If people trust the movies that are made, they may get the wrong idea and mistake the history in the movie as the real history. Although we cannot prevent movie directors from adding extra history 'facts', which never happened in real life, into the movie, the things we can do are not trust these movies that are not based on real history and do our own research on that specific piece of history ourselves.

we cannot exactly trust movies as a representation of the true history as maybe,the director maybe bias and will add some scenes that did not happen in actual history.for example,if the director actually favors the antogonists,he or she will make the movie look as if the antoganists always wins the fight against the protogonists.this will make the movie more sided and audiences will not be happy with the movie and movie rating will drop so that will affect businesses hence making them lose money.But what can we people like us do?we can just scold ,swear or whatever but in the end only the castand the producers and directors will gain money.

No, we can't. But some could still be trusted even though its a movie. These movies still could be trusted as the storyline of the history will still be reflected into it. Examples of such are red cliffs. They inherited the plot of the real story to the movie. Of course, they edited the parts unneeded or making it more interesting. So from my opinon, its okay to trust the historical facts said in the movies. But you cant entirely trust it.

No, i do not think that we can directly rely on movies to present out the whole history unedited and truthfully. These movies (historical movies) usually dramatize the whole event to attract more viewers so as to ensure that their movies will earn them lots of money. As in real life, nothing in perfect, so in wars, u cannot expect anyone to be resting under a tree or talking to each other when reloading, which in real life they would probably be dead. All in all, we cannot rely on movies to present the whole truth behind the event as editing and dramatization is required for better viewsmenship.

It is because whenever it has such movies coming out, they will have some difficulties taking some of the scenes thus the director will decide not to take it. If this thing happens, there will be some misunderstanding going on, or it may not give other people the thoughts they want to tell them by taking the scene and they will not understand the fact of the history they were mentioning about. ReplyDeleteThe dangers that we face are very real, firstly, we might get the wrong information for our history test. Secondly, minors might emulate actions(violence and unaccepted behaviour in society) which might prove fatal and dangerous as some movies are edited in such way that there is a lot of violence added to it, even though there might not be any in the history behind it. The dramatization of events will also edit characters and their personality so as to make them look more heroic when sometimes there are no even such characters.

we cannot trust movies to represent true history. that is because what they show in the movies is not always true. People generally belive what they are told on the big screen and take that what is shown is true. We might get the wrong idea of things. Getting information out of historical movies is not the best option to get answers to our history hoomework. We should not always belive what we see in the movies as some parts are changed in certain ways that makes filming the scene easier to film.

It depends on the movie and the director. Some directors completely follows the true history ( which is totally rare :x ), whereas some chose to change some parts to make it more interesting so that it will attract more people to watch. They may also cancel some contents to make filming easier and the movie to be easier to understand so that more people will want to watch and earn more money.

my personal answer is NO. everybody knows that there are plenty of sources about history but the question is are they reliable? now come back to the topic about movies as a source of history information.in my opinion it is partially correct but it is still better to check on more history information to double check about what is real in the stories as all directors wants to perform well and so they will tend to change a little bit of the real story to make it more interesting so my final conclusion is that movies are not a good not a reliable source for history

I think that we cannot trust movies to represent history because there is a posibility that the movie is made to be like that to attract more viewers as the original is not as interesting and attractive as the modified one. The director would ofcourse wqant more viewers to watch the movie so that they can earn more money from a small production they did. I think in this way, it shows that most movies cannot be trusted. Movies are meant to be watched for entertainment. Like the movie "Night At The Museum". The statues in the museum like not really at that specific place. One of the teachers went to that museum in real life and came back to tell us. Im not very sure of which teacher it is but i think that this is a very useful example.
