In my first ML secondary year, i get to learn many interesting things. Examples are that we know how to differentshape the edited stuffs from the real one. We also get to know how to edit our videos, and get to know what commercial is suppose to be ban or not. The difficulties i have was that I sometimes can't get what we are suppose to do. Thanks to Mr.Lam, he patiently explain over again to me make me understand the matters.

I learned that in order to make a good film, the group members must be cooperative and that teamwork is very important. the problem that we faced while doing this is that we all have different timetables and that we could not meet up easily. We did a little adjustment to your script and timetable so that everyone could work together.

ReplyDeleteI learned that in order to make a good film, we need to work together in groups so we could cooperate. However we were always late and know that we must do our best to aim for our aim like advertising the advertisment

We are able to learn many things like spot which is the real one or fake one, different types of shots and how to that videos and photos. Actually, we do have troubles while doing the films. Like everytime we have shots, the actors will laugh or they will feel shy and such and the video will take very long to shot and there will be NGs inside. Thats why teamwork is very important during all this filming. So we will need more practice and do better the next time.

Firstly, I have learnt to edit things and do video-caming through this whole production. It was something that I didn't really know since I was young and now I've understand about editting and production of advertisements or movies better. Through this process, there are quite a lot of difficulties we have met as the time taken for the advertisment production was like, a few hours. Though the advertisement was just merely a few minutes, it took almost half the day to be completed. We had to choose suitable place for each scene, and the placings of cameras, etc. Thus, we took up a lot of time. Moreover, sometimes we are not free to meet up for filming, thus we had to rush through the whole production. Eventually, we dug out some time from our busy schedule to meet up, and finished the whole production. However, I hope we'll have more practices as I believe we can do better than what we produced.

I learnt about the various functions of the video camera and learning where and how to insert and remove the battery from the camera.I also learn about how to use the computer microphone and adjust to the correct frequency that I need for the exact movie and exact scene. I learnt how to operate a video editor like adding sounds,words and editing sounds by installing microphone and speak into it.The difficult part is coordinating the whole group to take part into the acting scenes and editing movie wasted alot of time,all in all if we have more groupwork this PBL will take less time and effort to complete.

Through this PBL, I learnt how to edit videos and use the video camera. I found out that producing a video is not as easy as we think, its not just writing and script, having the actors to act it out and editing it. It takes alot of ideas for the script writer to write out the script, and alot of practices for the actors to act it out. The editor also have to have alot of patience to finish editing the videos in order to produce a perfect piece of work. Teamwork is also very important in this PBL as we need to cooporate with each other and take out tim our busy schedule to meet up and take the video. We also need a lot of practices and we have to help each another in order to have a almost perfect video. So, I think that teamwork is very important in this PBL.

ReplyDeleteIn this PBL, I learnt how to use the video camera and edit videos. I also learnt more about the function of the video camera. I also learnt that teamwork was very important. It is impossible for a person to film his own video because a person must hold the camera and a few people must act. That is why teamwork is very important. I also learnt that producing a video is not easy. My group keeps refilming one part where I had to run. I was exhausted after running for a few times. It took about ten to twenty refilm until it was ok.

ReplyDeleteI learnt that to make a to make a good video production,the group must corporate well.If one was to argue,it would be very hard to progress.Time is also an important factor as the video production takes a long time,
ReplyDeletethe group must work swiftly and make as less mistakes as possible if not the work we made will be affected and the actual storyline that the group is supposed to make would be in bad quality and might not be what the group actually wants.I also learnt how a video production,a storyboard came about.I realised that it was interesting on the production of video as not only i learnt how to edit a video,now i know how hard and difficult it is to make a video that is good.Even though the video we made was just a mere few minutes,it took almost half a day just to finish shooting and sometimes there would be tensions betweeen each other and some of us would be stress about
the acting,there was difficult decisions on the type of shots we wanted too.It was a tough one, but i learnt a lot.

In order to produce a good work, i think that teamwork is very important and everyone in the group must cooperate well. the problem our group is facing is that we cannot meet up with each other easily.
ReplyDeleteI learned a lot of media knowledge such as editing, voice over, putting animations, story boarding. What I like most about what I learned is editing. This is because, if there are some unwanted parts of the video, I can edit away them. Technology nowadays is very advanced, by just one small click on the mouse, we can edit away the unwanted parts.
ReplyDeleteWhat difficulties I encountered is that during some scenes of the video, some of our group members laughed and we had to restart all over again. Finally, after many tries, We are able to film our video successfully. For some scenes such as : our members smile a little bit. We put our knowledge to good use by editing away the unwanted parts. One of the scenes of our video, as the background sound was very loud, our voice cannot be heard, so we use the microphone to "voice over" and finally done finished our video.
All in all, I think media is very important in our lives and I really enjoyed learning media literacy.

ReplyDeleteI have learnt lots of editing videos skills through the software, I also learnt that I can put different effects like the music effect so to let our videos interesting. Thus, other people want to see our videos. To have the final production done, we still need to co-operate to finish as fast as possible. We spent almost half day doing the filming and through the filming, it is actually quite fun. We need to make the tools that which is needed in our scenes and we also need to decide on our venue to film the scene. I also learnt how to use the functions of the DVD and I think it is very useful in the future. If there is more filming project and we will know how to function the DVD.

From the whole process of the production of the video, i have learnt editing skills and other computer skills. These skills have taught me how to attract the attention of the viewers and how to take out unwanted part in the video; everyone makes mistakes, so we must edit our video to make sure that the quality of our video is up to standard. The problems my team and i faced was that our members are all very busy people and thus have no time to do some of the things, but all these problems were easily solve by communications and ample understanding of each other. Through all these, i must say, this was done up to our expectations.

i learn that in producing a good video that will attract the people who view it is to be able to cooperate will the others team members everyone must contribute ideas to the video so asthere is a lot of different ideas produced by someone the story must be also very interesting and even if it is not we will not be sad as we already tried our veey best

throughtout the program i also learn many ways to film the video like holding it in one angle may varies greatly when it is viewed on another angle i also know how to put it or we say unloaded it to the computer these skills which i usually did not know or failed to master it was finally mastered when my friend which is the teamates i worked with had taught me during the program

We learnt how to edit the video, delete the NG parts, add effects and music into the video to make it more interesting and improve the quality. We faced the difficulties of making the video smooth when you delete the parts and add in appropriate music and effects. Our act are not that convincing and there are lots of laughing scenes. Our video must also fit the theme " Family ". So we have to plan the appropriate storyline and the venue the take the video. We tried to be more united and serious to get the work done in a short time and of course with quality.

I learnt many things through all the video editings. When we try to flim the video, we need to really get together and discuss what our plan is and what we want to do. Then we have to try to put our plan together to make things right and make it go the way we planned it. When we flim, we need to have team effort to be able to cooperate to finish the whole fliming. When editing, iv learnt how to add in music, voice and words into the video like what i see on television or youtube. This could help alot in futher when there is a need for these kinds of media.

ReplyDeleteThrough this PBL, I learn many various kinds of different things. Example are how to edit videos and the using of the video camera. I found out that producing a video is not as easy as we think, as it is not just writing the script and have the actors to act it out only as we still need to edit the video, delete the not good scenes, add effects and music into the video so as to make it more interesting and also more appealing to the audience. We also had to choose a suitable place for each scene as well as the placing of cameras or else it would affect the overall atmosphere of our video thus just through this things we took up a lot of time. We also had quite a lot of trouble when doing the film as sometimes we are not free to meet up for filming, thus we had to rush through the whole production when we manage to get out of our busy schedule. When filming some of our members have shots which will make them laugh or feel shy thus we would usually need to take a very long time to shot it so as to produce a perfect scene hence it would have some NG scene inside. Thus it is very important that we need to have team work and cooperation within the group so as to be able to finish the whole filming process on time. We also need to be united and put seriousness into the filming so as to present a perfect video and complete it on time
